In Arizona, my dad has a couple of bars and he also owns a construction company. He does residential modeling. He buys homes and remodels them and we moved a lot because he liked some of the projects he did and wanted to move there. (laughs) I went to 10 different schools total. I graduated high school early with a 4.2. I studied a lot. I was part of the yearbook staff, I was on the newspaper staff. I was the one giving the morning announcements. I was very involved on the production side of the school…
Athletically, I was a cheerleader and I did track and field, mainly the hurdles. I was also a basketball player. I’m only 5’1” but when I was younger, I shot up right away. When other kids passed me in height, I discontinued that. (laughs) I stay pretty active. Not necessarily competitively, but I do equestrian. I grew up with horses so I started riding at a young age. In Arizona, I was a trainer and showed horses. I got thoroughbred horses that came off the track. I trained them so they could be show horses or horses for families”.
